Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum and in need of Help! Earlier today, I decided to do the brakes maintenance on the RT. I had the speed bleeders, GS911 WiFi, etc. Everything looked easy... until I screwed up and let the brake fluid get below minimum in the front reservoir. Now I have no front brakes .

Any idea how to solve this? I mean, the fluid won't bleed now and when I pull the front brakes... nothing.

Hi Dan and welcome to the forum

You will have an air lock within the brakes stopping the flow of fluid

There is plenty of ways to resolve this

The cheapest and quickest but the dirtiest way is to pump the brake lever then hold it back and crack the banjo bolt on the master cylinder

but a word of warning!! you must have a lot of rags wrapped around the banjo bolt and you will get brake fluid coming out so everything in the area must be covered

Alternatively and my preferred method is to use a large syringe with a bit of pipe on and push fluid up from the caliper to the master cylinder then bleed as normal

Or you can use the syringe and pull fluid down the line with vacuum

I have a cheap one of amazon that cost me £19

It works fine for pulling fluid through

Thanks everyone... I used a syringe that I found in the kitchen Easily I pulled from the caliper using a short piece of tubing; completed the bleeding and everything works as it should.

I'm one of them blokes that when it comes to presents 3 times a year I have difficulty thinking what I want/need.I inevitably end up with tools that I don't really need but I do like a bit of tool porn so I give the buyers/givers suggestions and they never let me down,especially the women.Few years ago she was with me in MachineMart and I stood looking at a work bench,woke up on me birthday and inside me card was a receipt for said bench


She's grateful I let her out the kitchen when I want presents

That's the same i use. Had it for years. I was a lot cheaper back then.

I am exactly the same

I'm a sucker for tools and all the family get a list off me of what I want too

I had my ramp bought for me too
