Just read a post about new laws regarding riding in France. Am not sure about all of it so am taking it with a pinch of salt.
1. No lane splitting anymore. When i was last in Paris everyone was lane splitting.
2. A hi-vis vest/jacket must be worn at all times.
3. Motorcycles must carry a warning triangle like our 4 wheel friends do.
Is there any truth in these new rules? Being France it wouldn't surprise me

Don’t have to carry a warning triangle , it says you have to carry a hi viz vest for when stopped at the road side.

Yes.
Got back from France yesterday and no biker we saw had hi viz on and plenty of filtering going on.Its more a case of common sense in France and they are more bike friendly.Knocks riding in this country into a cockedhat. Thanks for the link. Ive always carry a hi-viz vest and a first aid kit with me. The writer mentioned Tolls. I mostly travel by "N" routes. Am on holiday so i want to see the views rather that the boring "A" routes.
