I might be me but i wouldn't feel safe in this helmet. Is it because of its unique design or the lack of a chin strip?. Many people asked me the same when i owned a BMW golfball helmet with its flip front. Not even sure they would pass the EU test but they have a DOT rating
What's your feeling about this helmet?

Saw something like this a few years back, was very expensive for what was being offered. Premium rate prices and apart frm the novelty clam shell opening a very basic helmet cant remember the name of the company though.

The concept seems to be good.
I think, because it's an unknown, being wary is a natural reaction. It would be interesting to know what safety standards it can meet.
I imagine it would be a great asset to 1st aiders in the event of an accident.

In the states, the Rrp is £270.95, and yes i does look like a very basic lid. I expect you would have to visit a shop to get the correct size.
What would happen if the latches break? How the hell would you get it off.
See it is approve to ECE 22.05 standard but still wouldn't buy one

No, I wouldn't. I'll stick to my traditional type helmets.

As has been mentioned. What if the mechanism breaks. How the hell would you get it off!! You can always cut a strap!

I like the concept. I would like to see some test data. Just from the video, I would think that it is safer than my NeoTek II.
From the other side; I would hate to admit how many times I have removed my helmet only to find that I was wearing a strapless helmet
