Hi, Just picked up my 2014 R1200Rt and loving it so far. I've managed to input the VIN into mdecorder to find out the exact spec but things like 'comfort package' and 'delux headlight' aren't that helpful. Does anyone know where i could get more information on the OE's offered by BMW?

Go to the local BMW dealer with your VIN and they should be able to access all the information about the bike, inc service history if main dealer serviced.

Google is your friend…

Comfort package:
The comfort package includes Keyless Ride, comfortable heated grips and a chrome-plated exhaust system.

The headlight pack is probably the inclusion of the LED Halo lights.

This may help:

I recently changed to Cotswold Motorrad from North Oxford. The chap on the service desk asked me to bring in my service history because there's no national database for BMW bikes.

Strange.. when I bought my RTLC from Bahnstormers dealership at Alton they were able to supply the full spec sheet for me even though it was originally bought from a London dealership.

AFAIK, individual BMW dealers only have access to the service history done at their dealership. However, BMW Warranty can access all service history as necessary for any claims.
