Hi all, hope this is a) in the right section... and b) NOT a numpty question??
I had to remove my top box & then remove the pillion seat pad and rear panel (the one with the BMW badge on), so I can do a minor paint touch up.
I found a wiring harness/plug under the rear panel - so I'm thinking I could add the BMW top box rear brake light.
Anyone else done this? It looks like (to someone who has just found the cable and NOT done any research.....) that its just a simple plug in and go?
Is it that simple... or am I - as usual - missing something really bloody obvious?
Bike is a 2017 model - UK based. Thanks in advance

Re: Retro fit topbox brake light
Hi, have you got the detail of the top box brake light on Amazon? Or, anyone out there with a second hand light? £150 from BMW dealer is expensive! Cheers

No need to spend £150+, for £5.81 you can have the same function, 10 minutes to fit with a soldering iron and 4mm drill.
