When I had my pan 1300 I had the older style tapered bmw grips on it which I liked, is there a way to fit that style to my 2019 R1250 ?. I found these on eBay

I’m a bit bemused by the fact that they show a picture of a cut grip, does that mean that the heater element of the original BMW grip is left on the bike with these £28 old style grips slid over them?
I’d love a set as I find the OEM too small and smooth.

From the ebay link, Item Description.
"The heating element remains on the handlebar tube, you just replace the rubber grips."

Steve, have you tried Grip puppies in the past(other bikes maybe)Going on a recommendation and something I read on the forum before I've ordered a pair, hopefully be here early next week.I also find the BMW grips to small, bugger trying to cut them off,you just know you'll slice something in the heater gubbins

I have tried them but didn’t really get on with them.
As far as cutting into the heating elements, I generally push a rounded off wooden dowel between element and grip then cut into the gap created.
