Disconnecting battery

Post by Potential new owner.. »

I've disconnected my battery on my new RT1250 to fit some accessories. Connected everything back up but the bike won't start. What could it be?

Have you checked everything?

Is it in neutral etc

Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it should stop it starting.

Check your connections too

That suggests to me that the battery is not connected properly somewhere or the main fuse is popped

Pull the battery and check the polarity and also check the main fuse

Hi, can someone tell me where the main fuse is? I've looked online at the fuse box and can't see a "main fuse" listed. Thanks Pete
