Removal of front abs speed sensor

Post by Tom 2 »

Hi all
Trying to remove the front sensor. Undone small screw. Try pushing and pulling but won’t budge. Is there a secret clip.
Any help would be appreciated

This can get stuck a little. After removing the screw try to wiggle the sensor back and forth as pulling outwards. a quick spray of brake cleaner may help

Ok quick update
That was some tight sensor. Good job I am replacing with a new one as I had to smash the thing to get it out.
I think the alloy coating has corroded a bit and wedged it in there. The new one is going in with a good smear of grease.

Copper grease or any waterproof grease is a good idea to use
