So the people who have keyless, where do you keep your plastic emergency key.
Do you keep it on you all the time in a jacket pocket.

Tape it to an old credit card and keep it in my wallet. So I've always got it with me.

I have a small zipped coin purse! That has another small zipped pocket on the side. Plastic key fits nicely in there, and I keep the purse in my jacket pocket!!

I keep it on the key ring with house and car keys, etc. in my jacket pocket. Bike main key fob is separate.

I keep mine with my credit cards, whilst I have various options regarding recovery I prefer to not have to wait for the service to attend whilst I freeze my giblets off when I could just use the emergency key if that's all that's needed.

Depends what you mean by spare one -
Ultimately BMW can supply you with an un-chipped key for unlocking the panniers from the bike to save your expensive fob key @ under £20
Or supply a very expensive keyless fob @ £200
Or supply another plastic jobby, but no idea on the price.
