I did it

Post by EasyRider »

This morning i bit the bullet and taxed my RT.
Don't know if or how many times it will be used this month.
Its down to the weather and if any more salt is put on the roads.
I really want to get out on it as i've now had it for 3 months and not used it once.
Spent loads of time and money on it, so it now time to get out and use it.
I've already planned my first 2 rides.
The first one is just a short 50 miles shakedown ride.
The second is a nice ride around the Brecon Beacons.
So i do hope we get some nice dry days this month.

If you're looking for a bit of inspiration to get out, have a look at the Welsh Photo Challenge. It's a just for fun, take a photo of your bike in front of type challenge and designed to take you to places you may not have gone to before. I've already done three in North Wales and will be doing the next three down soon. It's a good excuse to get out even if it absolutely pee'd it down when I was on Anglesey.

The sun came out late morning. I thought great i can get out on the bike.
So i'm sitting in the snug watching the CCTV and seeing the road out front drying up.
Then all of a sudden the heavens opened and hail stones followed by rain.
Its stopped raining now, but its not drying up.
I dont ride weekends, but sunday might be ok for the 50 miles shackdaown.
fingers crossed.
