Anyone use an off the shelf epoxy that's stronger than JB Weld.Ive found Systemthree 88,but it's expensive for what I want.
The replacement lug on the side panel has again detached itself
Last time I used JB quick, not realising normal JB is almost twice as strong. As it stands I'm looking at JB again, unless someone has a better suggestion
Should add, this is needed for plastic to alloy/metal.

JB Weld is good stuff and good value. I always keep some here for them just in case times.

An easy fix for plastic is melted cable ties. Soldering lron to melt the ties. Used this trick may time on Jap panels

A glue gun works well with cable ties too

That's not going to work on the panel lugs.

If by "panel lugs" you mean the two little plastic tabs that hold the top fairings in place and fit into little slots, Clearwater lights makes self-adhesive metal replacements you may want to check out.

They are not cheap but worked on my 2014 RT
If I have totally misconstrued what a "panel lug" is I beg your forgiveness!

No,you are right and I did buy some of there replacement tabs(cost a fortune with the postage shipped to the UK)I stuck them on along with JB QUICK weld but on a Spanish/Portugal tour last year they came unstuck in the heat(42c in some parts of Spain)and speed of the bike on motorways. So they are precisely what I am attempting to reapply.
Have now stuck them back on with original JB weld(24hr cure)I'm putting some fibreglass over the top and to finish of some strips of 3M dual lock.
I really can't see anymore I can do.
Thanks for the suggestion
