Run Time and Avg Speed

Post by EasyRider »

So i have just found and reset the engine run time on my R1250RT.
It was at 382 hours with the mileage on 15888 miles.
I emailed the last owner and was told this was never reset.
So if i say 6 hours max stop time with engine running (ie, traffic, traffic lights, workshop time ect ect).
That works out at an Avg speed of 42 mph since the bike was new.

The RT is 55 months old tomorrow, so it works out at only 289 miles per month with a Avg run time of just 7 hours per month.
Which looks to me as it did not spend much time on the motorway and spent its time sight seeing.
Going by the old MOT's i think even with the bike doing an Avg of 3500 miles a year, the bike was not used all year round.

I have now reset it to see what my Avg mph and run time is per year.

So have a look at what run time hours your RT has done.

And yes, i'm bored.

I think your RT is the same series as mine with dial clocks. Where do you find the run time?
