Hi,
I just replaced the clutch plate, pressure plate and cover, on a 2005 BMW R1200RT. The bike has only done 40,000 km but the old plate was to the rivets.
The clutch now only disengages fully when the clutch lever is fully pulled back to the handgrip. It's difficult to shift to neutral when stopped, I think because the clutch is not fully disengaging. I tried adjusting the lever, which has the 3 point rotating adjuster. This hasn't fixed it. I can't find any other adjustments. Does anyone have any bright ideas?
