Hi All,
I have recently purchased a 2010 R1200RT MU SE, with 30k miles. The wife and I intend to spend a few weeks touring around the UK and Ireland and, as my other bikes are all classic Japanese, I wanted something a bit more suited to the task. I've only covered a couple of hundred miles on the BMW but, so far, I'm loving it.
Looking forward to reading through all of the posts on here and maybe even adding some useful input.
Cheers,
Ian

Drop me a line, I am tourist in Ireland for almost 18 years, and if you let me know what is your interest, I could send you couple of locations and roads that might be worth noting.
I am here to learn.

Welcome Ian.
I'm close to Gatwick, so not far away. I have a 2012 with 18k.
A few of us are off to France in July. Details are in the organised trips section. Perhaps you would like to join us?
