Bluetooth Connection 2017 RT

My bike has a built-in audio connector in the right storage compartment that would interface with the old-fashioned Apple connector. Needless to say, that hasn't been available for years.

Is anyone aware of a converter that I could use to plug my phone in and play my song list through the Sound system?

I've also looked to see if there is a way to play the bike radio through my earphones, but the RCA plug on the bike doesn't send a signal through to the earphones. Any solutions for that?

As much as I love the bike, the audio/Bluetooth funtion is just a bit of a nightmare.

Hey friend.

Bluetooth receiver of any kind works well. I use these with great success. Only issue is (with every single one of these I’ve found), you need to press a button to power the unit on.

Powers off of the USB on your cubby connector and use the 3.5mm audio connector between the cubby connector and the Bluetooth receiver. You'll use the AUX audio source on your bike.

I moved away from this and wired up a generic Bluetooth receiver component, which I 3D printed a box for. These things power on and auto-connect to the last paired device, which is much better for me.

Bluetooth receiver I recommend (if you don’t mind pressing a button each time to pair)…

Here is a good video that shows full Bluetooth pairing situation (options for pairing phone to bike, bike to Bluetooth headset, etc.)…
