Fuel sensor
Fuel sensor
Is there a diagnostic tool ot anything I can use to reset the fuel sensor on my 2007 R1200rt? Or do I simply have to replace it. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Fuel sensor
Youtube has a couple of vids about a fix using a job lighter. I had problems with the fuel sensor on my 2009. The original design is crap and will let you down. There is a much better now which had fitted. No more problems after that.

The lighter trick is a bit of a hit of miss. It worked twice on mine lasted 6 months then completely knackered
