Been told off

Post by EasyRider »

I am now starting to get board just sitting around watching tv.
So I thought i would go and fit my new Innovv K7 system on to Artie.
I got the old system removed, and the K7 system fitted.
I then thought i will make a loom for my old cameras for the wife Yamaha XJ6F.
I fit an on/off switch for the cameras as i found if the last recording file has not finished, it wont be readable.
This way if you turn off the bike the cameras are still recording.
When the wife got knocked off in March 21, i stopped turned my bike off and went to help her.
When i got home i went to watch the video, and this is when i found out the file that i needed was not readable.
I now also set them to record just 1 min files.
Anyway so i was sitting down relaxed in my workshop when the wife came home and saw me in the workshop.
Did i get an earfull from her. I said i'm only making a loom for your bike for the cameras.
(I did not tell her i removed my old system and fitting the new Innovv K7 to my bike.)
She said i dont care, you get your ass back in the house as your ment to be resting.
So i'm now watching Mythbusters on Prime and yes i'm board, HELP....

Should I

Post by EasyRider »

Should I tell the wife to shut up.

I would say my breathing is back upto 80-85% of normal.
If i take my time and pace myself i'm ok.
So today i am thinking of getting one of the bikes out and going for a short ride.
Sitting around being board is getting to me now and making me a bit short tempered.
So i think getting out will help me reset my mind and calm me down.
Looking at the weather report its going to be around 19 degrees and overcast.
So not to hot or bright.

So i did go out on Artie yesterday and enjoyed the short ride.
Was out for about 3 hours in total with stops.
About an hour after getting home i did not feel that good.
I felt like all the sugar/energy had been removed from my body.
I feel better this morning after eating well and a good sleep.
It did susprise me how out of shape being laid up you can get, even for just a couple of months.

Take it steady, 3 hrs would be a good ride for me  . I remember how much weight I put on when I was home for weeks after a vitrectomy op for detached retina, I was walking to our village shop for frozen chips and pies to have at lunch time, not good and never really was able to loose it again.
