2005 Brake servo parts question

Post by NBRider »

Good day,

I have a 2005 R1200RT. Well documented that they may have brake servo issues. I have a problem at this time. thinking about bypassing the servo. have seen a video and posts on the subject.

What I do not have is where to get a information on parts or a kit. If you have any helpful information on this that would be appreciated.

If you have the wizzy abs fitted. You will need a copper brake pipe. 2 new brake switches and a longer rear brake hose. Motorworks sell a kit. If you have the same unit as my 07 the job will cost £5. Leave everything as is and use a felt tip or black nail varnish and paint over the flashing lamp.
