Well i said i would not fit an aftermarket exhaust to Artie.
But the one on here that adey1 had for sale, came up on ebay for a great price.
So i ended up buying it and its now fitted to Artie.
It is louder than the oem exhaust, but not to loud.
I don't know how old it is, but its like new.

Well i got out today for a quick ride, and wow the sound from the exhaust is great.
It's not an in your face loud, but more a deep growl when you open the throttle.
On start up when the flap is fully open it will wake the neighbours up on a sunday morning when in the garden  .
But once the flap starts to close, it tames it down a bit.
It does have the baffles fitted, and i would not like to try it without them. The RT is not that sort of bike.
Riding at a steady speed the sound is NOT a pounding noise that will give you a headache.
I rode today with my open face helmet and was happy with how loud it was, even at 70mph.
I just need to try it with the wife as pillion to see if she is ok with it. (Part Ex wife if not  ).
Am i happy i bought the exhaust, Yes i am.

So after having the Beowulf fitted to Artie for about a week, i am very happy with it.
The main thing i have found, is the engine vibration you feel though the bike at sub 2k revs, is now a lot less with the Beowulf than the OEM exhaust. Also one little mod i did do was mod the baffle. I had an old baffle which i cut the end off of and fitted it to the beowulf baffle. It brings the Db's down more for around town riding at low revs.

Not the one in the photo, but along the same lines. works very well.

I had a similar baffle on my Himalaya. The 2p sized round disc at the end can lose. After a while it rattled like hell until one day there was a loud rattle and in my mirror I saw it shot out like a bullet. Luckily no one was behind me. It didn't rattle after that
