Canada and 24 states ride

After a failed cross-country attempt 12 years ago, and after retiring last year, I told my wife I'd be leaving on August 8th. When she asked my return date, I simply said "Sometime in September". Starting in a suburb of Philadelphia, I headed up through New England on my 2017 R1200RT and then crossed the border to ride the Fundy Trail in New Brunswick and Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. Across Canada (and 8 Provinces) and into Hyder Alaska, 6 time zones away, before crossing into Idaho to ride through Washington and Oregon and then West across the top of the US to Ohio - to visit my left kidney I'd donated to my nephew in 2022! From there, I pointed the front wheel South through some other states to North Carolina, and back up to Pennsylvania. Visited places I've never seen and got to catch up with some people whom I hadn't seen for upwards of 4 decades.

29 days, 12,000 miles and a sore butt, but a very memorable trip for which I'd waited over a decade to complete.

Attached pics as proof my bike made it!
