A few of you that know me, know how long I’ve had my Iconic, and how much it means to me, 45000 miles and lots of memories 😎
Well the other week, I was taking some damaged PPF off for replacement, all good till I was taking a side piece off the Top Box, I’ll let the pictures tell the story !!
But I was absolutely gutted, trying to find a paint shop to take it on was near impossible, and I tried a few, BMW didn’t want to know, and neither did 8Ball the original painters of the bikes.
I got told about a guy in Southampton, so just popping it round wasn’t an option, but after a phone call and a longish conversation I felt confident enough to send it down to him, he did promise to do his best, and his website showed great results from past jobs 😀
To say I’m happy is a massive understatement, I’m over the bloody moon 😍

So if anybody needs any paint doing on your bikes I whole heartedly recommend Greg

# Greg Custom Paint # in Southampton 👍

Finished picture First !

8 Ball's work on the Iconic bikes was shocking. My GSA was terrible.

I’m undecided Stu, but to be fair I caught the box on the garage wall about 4 years ago, and touched the black bit up at the bottom of my box, it was that, that caused the problem with the PPF when I took it off !
But also the company I use want £250 to PPF the box now 😵‍💫

I’ve heard this before from a few people, to be fair, my RT hasn’t been to bad, but it was PPF wrapped in the first week .

Is that £250 fitted?

You can get a top box kit for about £50

What a stunning paint repair you have managed to get done, finding a paint shop willing to take on the task must have caused you some sleepless nights ! I was considering buying an Iconic a while ago but was put off by the very same reason ,who could repair that wonderful paint finish if required.
