BMW R1200RT/R1250RT Forum

The remote key for my 2019 1250 is playing up, the batteries are only only lasting a week before they die. Ive got through quite few batteries in the last few weeks.
Problem started when the key got wet and despite being left with the cover off hasn't improved.
I'm going to guess a key from BMW is going to be £200-£300 so before I go down that route are there any alternative ways to getting a new aftermarket key coded. Not fussed about having the physical key cut, just need a remote.
