Re: BMW Insured Warranty
David. wrote: Sat Mar 01, 2025 8:35 am It's that time of year again, just renewed my lapsed BMW Motorrad Insured Warranty to start on 1st April 2026.
The premium is £36.18 per month for a warranty inc. roadside assistance with an excess of £100.
Will probably pay this for 7 months until 31st October 2026.

Re: Insurance time again plus a speed awareness course?
Years ago, I had a SAC, I didn't tell the insurance company.
The question they ask is, "have you had any motoring convictions or have any pending".
IMO, you have not been convicted of anything so don't tell the insurer.

Re: Reversing direction of rear strut preload adjuster
From what I can see, the rear strut & preload adjuster are a sealed unit.
If with the seat(s) removed the adjuster is accessible, what would be the reason for turning it around.

Re: Clutch drag-clutch lever pulled in
In the Haynes manual Fault Finding section, under Clutch problems, it suggests the following.
Clutch not disengaging completely (drag).
Clutch release mechanism faulty. This will cause clutch drag, which in turn will cause the machine to creep.
Clutch pressure plate warped or damaged.
