Cheers for that. Wondering if it refers to the ESA. Don't know if some come without it. Not much else that I can see.

Re: What did you do today?

Decided to hang up mi leathers last September and retire from biking (for the fourth or fifth time). So what rolls up today, a van bearing goodies. A R1200 GS TE 2012 in Silver. 28k miles, full luggage and looking pretty smart other than a bit of grot round the front engine cover.
The better half ...

Might work on older bikes better. You can probably get a new hose for £30 though.
That looks interesting and listed as suitable for a 2013 TC. I did look for a longer hose but couldn't find anything. Do you have a link?

Re: Bar Risers

The line on my bike is mounted horizontally, but could still work. Will depend if the neck bit on the extender will fit in the notch in the housing. Worth a punt anyroadup @ £7 delivered. Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Bar Risers

When i fitted the GS bars to my RT with bar risers, i found that the brakeline was at its max on full left lock.
I found this little extender that works very well, and its cheap to.

No problem.

They do make quite a difference turning real bad backache into only just noticeable backache, so all told, worth it I think.

There is an extender for clutch/brake lines for the LC bikes but that's not much use to us. :(

Re: Bar Risers

I had initial thoughts about removing the risers but then presumed that if they had been approved for use in Germany then all should be well, and Hornig stipulate in writing that longer lines/hoses are not necessary. I also (like jesim1) asked myself how often the bike is on full left lock other ...

Re: 2024 North Yorkshire (England) Meet

How about a meet at The Motorist, https://www.themotorist.com/ it's only 200 miles from Abergavenny.

Getting the thread back on track;

Are we talking about a meet with a decent ride attached? Then I'm in.

Had some great rides back in the day with the Northern Monkeys, mostly down to David's ...

Bar Risers

Just fitted Hornig bar risers to my 2013 TC. According to their blurb, no mods to hoses/cables are necessary. The brake hose on full left lock feels tighter than is comfortable to me but what do I know. All seems fine on the road but it's now a worm in my head. Anyone else who has fitted them, and ...

Not being nosey, just thinking about a possible meet up point for any other East Midlanders. Newark seems to work for a possible half way point between me and thee.
