Re: Grip modification
I used to get numb hands on my 2007 RT due to vibration, I tried grip puppies, they didn't work. I installed heavier bar end weights (500g each) and that cured the problem.

Re: BMW R1300RT test ride and review
The R1300RT does not seem to have been overly well-recevied and most people seem to prefer the R1250RT, especially when conidering the new cost of the 1300

Re: Fuel pump connector leak
(2007 R1200RT, in UK)
I had the quick release fuel connectors fail recently, they are plastic and they crack and fail over time. I would strongly recommend you replace them before they fail
I replaced the with metal ones, from here

I had exactly the same problem on my '07 1200, which turned out to be a fault in the permanent live 12v wire to the ECU. Simple fix by wiring it direct to the battery.

Re: More powerful horn
My 2007 RT has the horn button in such a crap position that by the time I have found it, the person I wish to "warn" has long since passed.

common issues/weak points on 2007 R1200RT??
i have had a 2007 r1200rt for 9 years (now on 60,000 miles) and in that time the following has occured:
