I couldn't stomach the cost of the dedicated GPS units.
Instead I bought a Umidigi Bison X10 rugged smartphone that is water proof and vibration proof. I use the TomTom Go app and it works fantastic on the 6.5" screen.

I'm 5'9" with a 31" inseam and as Jeffem said the RT is quite tall. I can just about flat foot it, another inch lower would be nice but it's not a big deal.

It's the oddest thing as I used it back in the summer when I was looking at a 2009 RT. I got the full option list for the bike.
Now it says VIN not found.

I have it correct as it works on the Hexcan site and it has worked for me in the past. No idea why it doesn't work for me with a new VIN.

Looked at it back in July but it needed rear drive seals replaced. Didn’t feel like the right time.
Stopped by the dealer today because it was raining buckets and I needed a pick me up.
Lo and behold it was still there.

We rented a 2015 RT for a week in Dec and were very happy with its two-up performance. 
If there was a hitch at all it was that because the panniers are so wide my partner had trouble getting her leg over them.

Doesn’t have that issue on our ST1300.

I own an 2005 ST1300 and have rented a 2015 RT so I can offer a perspective on the RT and the ST. Previous to the ST1300 I owned a 2006 Triumph Tiger.

I’m 5’9”, 32” inseam and weight 170lbs.

I ride two-up about 50% of the time so weight distribution matters a lot to me.

The Tiger was a brute ...

The other thing that rings a bell is that there was a DBLXX named Dave from New York State on the K1600 forum sometime back, who got banned.
