Re: What did you do today?

Drifted down to The Classic Motorhub near Cirencester to meet a relative that's just put his classic racing car up for sale there.

Brilliant place to visit, or even buy if you've got a spare £100000 to spend .

Re: What did you do today?

Managed to get out for an hour today, the new ( used) boots are a bit disappointing, a little tight around the ankles but very hard to change gear getting them to bend to get my toes under and over the lever, do these Daytona boots loosen up at all ?, also no real feel for the lever either and noti...

Got a "free" overnight stay courtesy of Hotels.com. So took a trip over to Aberystwyth. Stop in Rhayader for a bowl of lamb cawl. 20250314_135331.jpg with chips. Got to Aberystwyth and had a beer on the pier. 20250314_154702~2.jpg Highlight was a lunch stop on the way back in Aberaeron. 20...

This is no way my subject but this is what I think is possible. The longer we live the more disease we get.
This may be totally crap.
Got to agree.

Re: Part exchange value

@MikeS Have you tried any other stealers to see what PX they would offer you on a bike the same value as the NT1000. I took a test ride on a F900XR at Warwick BMW and they said that they'd give me a part ex value if i wanted to order the 2025 model. Unfortunately it just felt too small so i didnt t...

Re: Part exchange value

£2000 for a 2019 bike is a joke. When I test rode a Harley Street glide, the mileage didn't matter. Mine is 07 with scratches and bumps and they offered me £3500. This is a lot more than I paid for her. Oh she has done around 635000 miles on the clock. The HD dealer exspected higher mileage due to ...

Part exchange value

Took my RT to the local Honda dealer for a part ex value against a new NT1100. They seemed vaguely interested until I mentioned the mileage, 46k. Then they lost interest and suggested I contacted webuyanybike for a cash value and come back. I knew it was nonsense but out of interest but did it anywa...

Re: Bloody Gritters

I've used mine over the last three winters, gritted or not. Seems to have held up well, not overly fussed with washing it but will give a once over with the hose pipe if there's been salt on the road.
Then again I've only got one bike.

Re: Klim Latitude and Altitude Jackets

Had a bimble (5 hour round trip) to Motolegends in Guildford yesterday intending to buy a Rukka suit. Despite doing all the Youtube research found that they just didn't fit well, jackets were just too short for me. Ended up buying the Latitude jacket and trousers. 1000016363.jpeg Jacket was a good f...
