Used this guy last year. Fitted me in at short notice, 220 quid ride in/out. Only issue for me was that the distance away from home but you can courier the wheel if you're not in a rush.

Sounds good. Happy to transfer the money when you're ready to make a booking.RTBoy wrote: Wed Feb 11, 2026 12:14 pm I have spoken to an hotel…
Per room 2 nights 1 person
£274.00 as at 10.15am 11/02/26
If everyone is happy I need to collate numbers and pay in one hit as the cost will go up if we pay in dribs and drabs..
Let me know

Re: 2021 r 1250 RT high mileage issues
Nowhere near 100k but my 2019 has 55k miles. Only failure has been the flappy valve which was covered under warranty.
Had a slight starting issue (never let me down) which North Oxford BMW weren't interested in looking at but fixed by Cotswold BMW. Shaft recall done at 37k.

Just back from a few days in mid Wales.
Stayed at the Dragon Hotel in Montgomery which is a picture postcard kind of town.
Rooms are a bit of a challenge after a couple of small sweet sherries

No preference for me. I live an aimless life full of endless boredom so it'll be something to look forward to.RTBoy wrote: Tue Sep 02, 2025 9:42 am Morning all….
Is there a preference for dates for next years ride out…
Let me know - and I’ll try and accommodate the majority.

Re: what is my bike worth?
£17300 was the invoice price.simbo wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 9:39 pm Just out of interest Mike?.. how much did you pay for your bike in 2019? No part ex or anything, just the actual price of the bike to see how much it's devalued in 6 years covering less than 9k miles per year.
So 25p per mile before servicing and tyres etc.
