They'll probably remember it as the place that I chucked my toys out of the pram because they stopped serving l...

Re: 28 ltr Top Box
So i went to town today to pop into Timsons to get a second key cut for the top box. The guy in the shop said that they did not have any blanks for that key. I said if i get a blank myself At around £10, how much to cut a key. His reply was £20 to cut it. So i told him i can buy a new lock with 2 k...

Drifted down to The Classic Motorhub near Cirencester to meet a relative that's just put his classic racing car up for sale there.
Brilliant place to visit, or even buy if you've got a spare £100000 to spend .

Re: What did you do today?
Managed to get out for an hour today, the new ( used) boots are a bit disappointing, a little tight around the ankles but very hard to change gear getting them to bend to get my toes under and over the lever, do these Daytona boots loosen up at all ?, also no real feel for the lever either and noti...

Got to agree.Doctor T wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 12:47 pm My way of thinking is that our bodies and brains were never meant to live this long, hence why there are more Dementia sufferers each year.
This is no way my subject but this is what I think is possible. The longer we live the more disease we get.
This may be totally crap.

Re: Part exchange value
@MikeS Have you tried any other stealers to see what PX they would offer you on a bike the same value as the NT1000. I took a test ride on a F900XR at Warwick BMW and they said that they'd give me a part ex value if i wanted to order the 2025 model. Unfortunately it just felt too small so i didnt t...

Re: Part exchange value
£2000 for a 2019 bike is a joke. When I test rode a Harley Street glide, the mileage didn't matter. Mine is 07 with scratches and bumps and they offered me £3500. This is a lot more than I paid for her. Oh she has done around 635000 miles on the clock. The HD dealer exspected higher mileage due to ...
