Just back from solo trip of a week in Normandy, took 250 Euros and cards, used up all the cash, prefer cash for day to day in Europe, call me old fashioned :-)
I am reluctant to get dragged into the Muc-Off debate again, it's been done to death, here's a few facts, when complaining to your BMW dealer about "Defective" paint and anodised damage, tell him you used Muc off and its auto reject for your claim, ask any professional valeter their ...
Have decided against continuing to have my RT ACF-50'ed. The reason being that, it's quiet viscous and the frame tubes behind the panels/under the seat, plus those hard to reach areas just attract the dirt which looks unsightly. Gave the bike a thorough clean with Muc-Off to remove the grease/dirt ...
From what I read the Nav on the TFT is dumb. You Nav from a BMW app on your phone, so if you can put a route into the app, then the TFT will handle it. So you will probably have to plan a route on something to produce a file compatible with the BMW App.
Trying to find out how sophisticated the new navigation is on the TFT, would like to be able to route plan, insert waypoints, like the Nav 6, or is it a simple A to B navigation device??
Notice the Heated seats are now extra, only heated grips standard, wonder if I can swap the heated seats from my 06/2019 R1250RT to the new one?? are they just "Plug and Play" ???
Great photo's, glad you had a good time. I wish I'd been somewhere nice this year ;) be sure to do the Pyrenees though, just like the Picos but more of it.

Nice pics. Have you any routes you can share? Thanks

Been back a few days now and am currently in quarantine which ends on the 7th October, so have been editing the 1000 photos i took during the trip (Link below for Album)

Had some time to troubleshoot today and the engine is definitely seized. Will not turn over and cannot get the engine to move when I place it on the center stand, put it in gear, and move the back wheel. Can anyone recommend a good resource (manual or video) for an engine rebuild?
Changed my part worn (4700 miles) Metzeler Z8 Tyres, for a new set of the same in prep for upcoming 3 week tour around Picos / Spanish Pyrenees, less than 2 weeks to go!
