Worse Sunday. Peddle bikes everywhere and those Sunday drivers that sit at 30 mph, whatever the road they're on.
Anyway, went out on the KTM this morning, god does this thing feel like I'm sitting on a little 125cc. Nice to get some cool wind to the body.
Question. Whilst riding the RT, only the RT ...

Re: 05 r1200rt front brakes need advice on parts

Re: Grip modification
Used Gripp Puppies for years. Yes, they do make the handlebars feel thicker, but over time they do mould to your hands. You can still feel the heated grip working. I have D. Trump sized hands, but standard grips always seem so narrow for me. I've never felt any vibration through the grips, even with ...

I've got large sized, and with the dash trim removed, I could squeeze my hand inside. I ended up with only a few scrapes

Re: Future 1250RT purchaser
Welcome to our site. You will find the RT a lot lighter than a GL. Ive owned both. The GL is a more sit-back bike, while the RT has more of a sport tourer sitting position. Servicing if done by yourself, is cheap, and no special tools are needed. As for the main dealer costs it is quite expensive ...
