Attached is a picture of the pressure rod.
Am I right in thinking that the end just goes through the rubber boot and just rest against the master cylinder?
I don't see any mechanical attachment of the pressure rod to the master cylinder.
Is their a specific method of attaching the Pressure rod of the rear brake master cylinder into the master cylinder or is it just pressed in through the belows?

I have trailed it back to the dealer today.
They said that they would get it reconditioned.
The bike has 0 kms from when I picked it up and it was sold as in good working condition.

Yep it is ESA and has a red spring and 2nd generation ESA.
What other liquid could be dripping from their.
I did jolt the bike a bit when taking it off the trailer.

Hi everyone! I have just bought my first BMW, an Rt 1200 from 2010. The BMW dealer I bought it from said that they need to replace the steering bearing before I can go and pick it up. The bike has 78000 kms on the clock. Is this a known problem? I was told when I bought it that it was in good order....
