Just fitted a pair of Dunlop Sportmax Roadsmart IV GT to my 1200RT.
I went for the GT option front and rear. I hope I don't regret that decision.
Had several sets of Michelin over the last few years but they suffered from sever cupping on the front.
Will report on the Dunlops in a couple of months ...

The more waterproofs you pack the less likely it is to rain. Riding in the rain makes you smooth according to a friend of mine.
