I also have a 2023 model and whilst my comfort indicator setting and split screen do not change after the bike is turned off for a period I have found that the distance setting for the automatic cruise control resets to 1 bar every time the bike is turned on/off, I like it at the 3 bar setting.

Since picking up my 2024 RT in June I had not had 1 ride where the app didn’t either loose the maps or disconnect entirely, on the last two rides the app has worked flawlessly even reconnecting automatically when restarting the bike after a break.

Looks like the wrong connector, the one for the gps only has one side with wires going into it and a blanking cap on the other side. I think the connector you have is the one that is cable tied to the inside of the left fairing.
