I opened the radio (top) box by pressing an actuator under the small 'rear seat wedge' that sits in front of the radio (top) box. Many thanks.

I bought a crashed police bike (2024 R1250RTP). Is there a trick to opening the top box? I know there is a button on the left rear, but it won't open even with the ignition on. I converted an earlier model and can't remember whether the engine needs to be on. I don't think so. Please help. Many ...

Here is an 2018 R1200RTP I converted. Went well. I hadn't anticipated the need to buy a standard horn and an EZYCan to run it all. The most costly part was getting someone to snip all the police wiring and tuck it away. I did all else, which was like Lego...and fun.
