Check your insurance renewal quote

Post by Glenn »

Check your renewal quote for the insurance.

Carol Nash had marked my policy with a claim for the accident I had (third party at fault), putting the policy back to 0 years no claims. I called and they have now corrected to error. The difference in cost for the RT is over £450.

Carole Nash admin is very poor. Recently had a car insurance renewal and the transmission had changed from manual to auto. The estimated mileage and value changed without me requesting it to.

After a phone call raising a complaint, CN agreed to increase the mileage and value without any further cost to myself.

It's,as if there not expecting the policy holder to actually look at the renewal. That's the reason I never have automatic renewal on anything.Good call :thumb:

When I took out policy with Hastings a couple of years ago and checked the documents when they came through and they'd put my RT down as an R. I rang up and whilst I accept the the person on the other end of the phone my not have know the difference between an R and an RT, the attitude of well we know and there's no need issue new document made me see red.

I'll be honest and say I was probably bit abrupt the idiot telling him in no uncertain term that I wasn't going risk having to spend half an hour standing on the side of the road discussing the differences between an R and an RT with a Police Office who thought he'd got me bang to rights just because they wouldn't change their documentation. The idiot argued back and I put in a formal complaint. The result was telephone call from a manger apologising and the offer of £100 in compensation. So yes, it's important to read your documents.
