I switched from a modular to a lighter full-face a while back for similar reasons, and it made a huge difference. I don't know the exact weights of the Shoei helmets, but maybe check out their full-face options like the RF-1400 or the X-Fifteen? They're supposed to be pretty lightweight. You might have to adapt your Sena comms a bit, but it could be worth it for the comfort.
