From what I have been reading online EBC motorcycle pads wear out pretty quick. I have had similar experiences with EBC Automotive brake pads

CL is best compared to OEM BMW if not slightly better
CL $75 for front
CL $39 for rear

I am currently at 32k miles on my 2017 RT

I used brembo red ones look great and there faster.

I used SBS CERAMIC pads on my 96 K1100 LT for years. They stopped well, delivered no dust to the wheels and kept the discs from wearing. What's not to love? Conversely, I used ebc front pads when I could no longer find the SBS any more. The ebc pads wore out both my discs and the pads really fast and my silver wheels turned black in no time. I would love to try the SBS pads on my 15 RT if I could find them. I think they are readily available in Europe. (I'm in the US).

Ive used EBC HH pads for years. I like the feel and the price. I do agree they produce a lot of dust. When i bought the bike it was OEM pads with plenty of friction material but i found the EBC superior in feel at the lever and better stopping bite

I'm with you on that, tried some EBC FA335HH from Motorworks on the front of my first 2007 RT, https://www.motorworks.co.uk/vlive/Shop ... 0&spPage=1

They had no feel, threw them away, only ever use OEM now.

It could be a side effect of linked brakes. Lack of feel may be caused by rear pads with better performance, accentuating the incremental automatic braking on the rear wheel.
Fwiw, I have the EBC hh's now and find them to be a marked improvement over the BMW (brembo?) ones.

Another one into the mix -

SBS pads, made in Denmark and owned by Brembo. I was reading a page on the Brembo site which stated that the SBS pad compound and composition was very similar to that of Brembo.

Don’t know what they’re like personally.

I wouldn't recommend any brake pads from Goldfren. Had the fitted when I bought my Tri Tiger 1050. The garage had just fitted them, and in 500 miles, they still felt like Teflon nonstick. They reminded me of '80s Honda brake pads that were death dealer brakes. You might stop in the rain, but that is very unlikely. I've always stuck with EBC HH pads, unlike the original Sintered pads that wore the disc down at the same time as the pads; the ones on sale today don't. I felt no lack of braking comparing them to the original BMW Brembo pads. I would say that the EBC double-H pads operate slightly better in stop-and-start traffic
