05 1200RT Sump Plug

Post by 98 SPS »

I am about to do an oil & filter change and an 8mm hex bit is the best fit for the sump drain plug, but it feels a bit slack and I don't want to round it off.
Would someone kindly confirm the correct sized tool to extract the plug.
Thanks

You might want to get a new one if it seems a bit rounded.

I have more than 1 8mm hex tool, and one of the others was a much better fit.
Job done, test ride completed.
Thanks for the advice.
