EZCAN cable lengths.

Okay, so I was about to take the plunge in to getting an EZCAN/Denali system but then I stopped and thought "My this bike is big, and very long. And the lights are at the opposite end of the bike to where the Canbus point is." My question, fine folks, is:

Have any you had issues with the lengths of the cables - specifically between spot lights (which on mine are mounted level with the top of the cyclinder cover) and the EZCAN at the back of the bike?

I've looked at all the specs and details I can find, and I'm sceptical about the legths of the provided wiring. I have tried to get in touch with HEX but I've had nothing back yet.

There is thousands of people running these on various bikes with no issues whatsoever so you will be fine

If you need to extend the cables then you can do that too without any issues

Its quite clear you and I have never met Stu. If we had you'd know that that idea was neither safe nor smart

There's a reason my friends back away rather sharpish when they see me going near anything electrical with a screw driver in my hand!

But thanks for the reply. I kinda know it'll be fine - But it's that voice in the back of the head going "Just be sure before you spend that money!"

On Mine I have the EZ can under the pillion seat I have two forward facing lights on the engine bars and a sat nav above the TFT no problem with cable length just the pain of removing the tupperwear and the putting it all back together again

Well the EZCAN is for the bike, the rest is generic 'plug and play' that fits in to the EZCAN. When you're spunking near a grand on kit you want to make sure it's right!!!

For clarity however, I'm a ham-fisted gorilla with all the dexterity in my hands of a pigs tit! Soldering and detail work are not my forte. Give me a big hammer any day instead!

If you're buying the dedicated kit,then it fits.If anything,there is surplus cable you will have to cable tie out of the way.And it really is a fairly easy job.Biggest headache i had was finding the bloody plug on the bike to connect with.
