Not exact light reading, but below is a link to an appraisal of the 2022 R1250RT-P vs a Yamaha FJR1300P and two HDs for US police patrol use. Not unreasonably they take a different approach to the normal magazine road test, but nonetheless it's an interesting, if a little heavy read and taken from a different perspective.

Interesting, it was a speed read, but on stuff like this that is all you need when a lot of what they look at is t real world consideration to us. I did find it surprising that the RT took the longest to stop in the wet, but quickest in the dry - ABS??

Several years ago Michigan did a similar test for police bikes. The BMW came in first on every test. The state bought Harley-Davidson bikes.
