Spending the weekend at Barber Motorsports at BMW Vintage Days. Also went to the Barber motorcycle museum. Over 2000 motorcycles along with an excellent collection of Lotus road and race cars! Weather was perfect.

Re: What did you do today?
Dry sunny day today - far too good to miss!
So, took a trundle around the Hampshire lanes, crossing Chilbolton Down, to Stockbridge. This road reminds me of riding the Eyre Highway in Australia, only a lot, lot shorter! Stopped off in King's Somborne, once home (or one of them) to John O'Gaunt.
Continued the ride down to Romsey, then out through the New Forest (missing all of the ponies and donkeys) before heading back up to the Savernake Forest. Did a nice run along the A4 to the A34 at Speen, then up to the motorway. Sadly, there had been an accident here, involving a modern sports bike. Nothing to see (police & Highways Authority were just tidying up) - only the bike wreckage. Had a steady, sobering run along the M4 on CC, before heading home.
The rest of week looks to be fair, but I might have to let my Panthers out for a run - the BMW cannot have all the fun!

Bought 4 tyres for me van,I'm having to have a lay down.

I'm going to attempt to mount them on a set of new rims(When the current tyres are down to the markers in a week or 2)Got the tyre soap, levers and compressor, what could possibly go wrong

Re: What did you do today?
Just watched for the last half hour from my garden a Rook chasing a Harris's Hawk away. Only about 10 feet from me. It was
like watching a dance. With them flying around each other, up and down, and going around in circles.
The Hawk is now sitting on my garage breathing heavily.

Re: What did you do today?
The garage alarm kept activating last night.5 times i checked it, and rebooting the system. This morning i went to investigate the problem. No live power is going to the sensors or camera. Tracked the main wiring only to find a half cooked Rat that had chewed the wire.
Just had to pay out £97 for a reel of 6mm Armoured cable plus mouse and rat poison. I've also ordered one of those electronic pest repellent devices.

Re: What did you do today?
Got the tyres on.
Home bodged valve puller

All ready

All four on and inflated

Was easier getting these reinforced van tyres on than it was getting a tubless tyre on me lambretta rims.
Get 2 balanced tomorrow and I'll get them fitted over the weekend. All in all i reckon I've saved the best part of £300

Re: What did you do today?
Took the CB550 F2 out for its first shakedown ride this afternoon. Found a few issues, the major one being the carbs overflowing, they were fine in the garage with the bike on the centre stand.

Yesterday. Rode to Loomies for a coffee and a burger. The weather was OK except for the wind blowing across the fields
