I have just brought and fitted a Motobatt Hybrid battery to my RT as i was not happy with the missed starts i was getting from the Yauas battery which was new when i got the bike in Dec 23. Been using the Hybrid for a week now and i'm kicking myself as to why i did not get one sooner, the bike now starts first time every time.
So if your due a new battery for your bike i would pay the extra (about £130 to £140) and buy the Motobatt MHTX16. I got mine from Race it Direct. Also brought some new smart chargers as well as my old ones were about 18 years old.
Brought the Motobatt PDCFB "Fat Boy" for my RT and brought 4 Motobatt PDCWB "Water Boy" for our other bikes, also brought 2 x 25ft ext cables which i will cut in half so i can mount the chargers to the wall out of the way.
There is a deal on eBay at the moment from some sellers, where you get a mulit-buy discount and a 15% discount on top. But you need to look for the sellers doing this and the 15% off ends 3rd March 26.
Also brought a new AGM battery for the wife Yamaha XJ6F. Total spend this week on Motobatt items was £455 (2 batteries and 5 chargers).
BTW it a 3 year warranty on the Motobatt Hybrid battery, and 2 years on the Motobatt AGM batteries.
