R1250RT TFT Model blank covers for speaker delete?
I don't use the onboard speakers on my 2024 R1250RT and am looking at removing them to gain a couple of storage cubbies. Might there be a forum member who has gone the other way who has some blank (non-speaker) covers in their take-off box that they are willing to sell?

I am looking at doing the same thing. I have no use for external speakers and would prefer the extra storage those cubbies could provide. Any luck finding a solution?

Is there actual speakers behind the grills?
On earlier models the grills was there but no speakers or radio

Just did this over the weekend. It got a lot of stuff out of my panniers. Was going to buy some old speaker enclosures and gut them, but it would have significantly reduced the available space. Left side has an inflator, tire repair kit and air guauge (buying a smaller one). Right side has a small toolkit, booster battery, fuses, spare headlamp, visibility vest & light sticks, &hand warmers. Bagged everything in plastic before loading.
