2005 RT
Previous owner must’ve added anti seize to the bolts when the last rear tire was put on. I just removed them to change the rear for new rubber. Thoughts on this please from everyone. It seems like a hazard for that to be on those but I am new to BMW Motorcycles.

Copperseal(anti-seize) for years. As long as the nut is tightened correctly, use anti-seize

I’ve seen it before, but yeah you don’t want much on there. BMW usually recommends clean and dry or very lightly lubricated threads only. Anti-seize can mess with the torque if overdone so I’d clean the bolts and reinstall them dry or with just a very light touch if you prefer.
