This has been a known things for years although some people don't believe it

Just as an aside for all you car drivers. Much of the Tyre Cord and Bead steel for Bridgestone, Michelin, Pirelli and Bekaert Group tyres are all supplied by British Steel Scunthorpe via their Rod Mill.

Forgot we still have a steel company in the UK
