MotorTablet Pro Max BMW - yes or no?

Post by Garethd »

Have my 'new' 2017 Rt and, after just a few rides I am loving it! Familiar enough after years on GSs, but also a very different (and welcome) experience. So, here's the question - in these days when we can't be separated from phones, music, maps and all sorts of other information, should I get a MotorTablet Pro Max BMW?

Clever social media is bombarding me with glowing reports of these gadgets which I would only want to use occasionally.... Anyone have any experience? I searched the group and only found one comment from a guy who said it didn't fit. Really interested to hear more.

Ta!

Personally, riding is the only time I can get away from things like phones.I tried a smartphone, but I didn't like it. I use an old Nokia. Does TXT and makes a call. Also, the battery lasts weeks without topping up. Perfect for me

Does the said tablet fit on the RT mount? As you find a lot of these are made for the gs and won't fit the RT due to the satnav surround.

Plus the way the controls work on the RT you can't always control them with the wonder wheel.

I use an old mobile phone for sat nav and it works really well
