Opened the first window of my One Direction advent calendar and Liam Payne jumped out.
The GS 'is' the better bike :-)

Re: What did you do today?
Washed and cleaned the bike after a ride out yesterday.
On Thursday it’ll be up on the Abba lift thing to have both wheels off to be stripped ready for powder coating. Then back on with new bearings and discs/pads for both.
I’ve also got 2 bits of the fairing that need a bit of repair, so they’re going down to the place in Southampton that was recommended on here recently.
It’ll give me a chance to give the rest of the bike a thorough clean ready for next season.

Re: What did you do today?
I’m tempted to make them a darker shade, maybe like the lower panel in a darker grey. I’ll have a look at the colours available.

I was going to spray my lowers Graphite Grey then chickened out. Worked out to make it look good I would have to spray the peg hanger and the rear hand rail as well.

Re: What did you do today?
Put together a new MC dolly mover. The old center stand dolly was getting a pain to move. This is due to the ridges in the concrete floor. I also layed a 20ft x20ft piece of lino that has been rolled up in my mum's garage for over 20 years. Even my little wife at 5ft can move the bike.
I also purchased a 5m roll of grip tape to make it easier when the tyres are wet whilst loading.
The new one is made by Sealey and I got the last one on a black Friday sale. £63.00 Inc delivery.
Mover like the one in the link.

Anyone willing to collect. You are welcome to buy my old center stand dolly for £20. It's too heavy to post. In good nick like the one in the like below

Re: What did you do today?
Was the Lino you used thin and hard ?, most modern Lino’s have a soft or sponge type backing. I’d like a dolly of some kind but obviously those tiny wheels won’t run on my carpet tiles.Doctor T wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2024 2:07 pm Put together a new MC dolly mover. Re: What did you do today?
we worked it out the lino is over 25 years old. It did have sponge backing but that had more or less gone hard. I had problems moving the old dolly on what I call a ripply concrete. How can you move it on carpet. bet it's a nightmare.

Finished applying the ACF50, bike on charge, on the ramp and in the garage until some decent weather comes round
