Not according to the Oxford English Dictionary! :-D

Interesting! I had no idea that Bruce's habit of regularly breaking a vice was his worst vice.

Had a little ride on my own today. I would of gone by Hay-On-Wye and Talgarth but took a wrong turning and could not be asked to turn around. It was a good ride and i enjoyed it which is the main thing.

Today, after looking at a roll of heavy-duty grip tape that had been gathering dust for months, I decided to do something with it. Cleaned the bike trolley with brake cleaner to get rid of oil and grit. Applied the grip tape right down the middle and added some to the brake flaps. Now the bike rides on it with no slippage at all.
Am sure the trolley weighs more than the bike :|
Tomorrow, the bike may have its annual wash. ;)

Assembled clutch on my GS1000G, changed oil and filter, installed Motobatt and started the bike after winter.

Not exactly BMW related work apart from needing to push RT out to make room.

Removed and repacked the exhaust from my F650GS Twin, waiting for the caliper to comeback from a refurb.

I spent the past two days doing a 2-day on-road riding course at the BMW Performance Center in South Carolina. Really excellent training! Challenging and informative, the instructors are wonderful. I rode a R1250GS, and learned a lot about what all of these bikes can do. I highly recommend that if you have the opportunity, you should take their courses. They have both on-road and off-road courses, as well as guided rides through the Appalachian mountains. 👍👍👍

The sun is shining, the winds are light, the roads are dry. So what am I doing?

Decorating the lounge…

Steve,

You need to listen out for the "Danger of Work" bell and then make your escape, before Senior Management hands you the decorating tools!

Still, plenty more good weather to come, if the forecasters have it correctly!

Yesterday i fitted a new YSS rear shock on my Honda XL1000 Varadero and tested it.
I then removed it and adjusted it and refitted it, then tested it.
I then removed it and adjusted it and refitted it, then tested it.
I then removed it and adjusted it and refitted it, then tested it.
I then thought fuck it, that will do for now. Its a right PITA getting to the top mount of the shock.
