I personally think Honda went down hill after the Bird, absolutely fantastic bike. Not made anything decent since, that's why I came over to BMW.

Very confidence inspiring in the wet with two wheels up front! Also managed 70mph on the clocks on the flat and 55mph uphill. Keyless ride, linked brakes, stop start technology, underseat storage, handy drop down hook for a shipping bag. Living the dream. The RT's going on market place as we speak

Considering how far it had gone grey(you can see the footwell for comparison)I think the 1st coat has done well, will do the 2nd coat later in the week.
I use this product on all black plastic, including on my bikes, works an absolute treat.

I have to agree. The quality isn't there anymore. It's the same with most manufacturers: ugly welds and thin paint.burridge01 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 1:44 pm I personally think Honda went down hill after the Bird, absolutely fantastic bike. Not made anything decent since, that's why I came over to BMW.

Ordered R1200 injectors and Hall-sensor from Q-Tech and various gasket/seals from Bayermotor. Also some parts for my -95 Mustang from Rockauto.

Re: What did you do today?
Today i spent all the money i got from the sale of my car the other day and a little bit more.
Brought myself a 2018/18 Ford C-Max Titanium X Navigation 1.5 Diesel.
It has 44k miles and what sold me on it was its just had one owner in the 7 years from new.
It coming from up north and is being deliverd on Tuesday.
I was going to buy a Ford Kuga,
But just looking out of our front window there were 8 SUV's on driveways around us.
There are SUV's bloody everywhere these days.
I am liking the off silver colour too.

Re: What did you do today?
We’ve got an 18 plate 1.0L eco boost focus, bought just before lockdown. It’s ok but we’re looking to change it for something else soon that’s easier to get in and out of and maybe a bit more guts!. There’s zero engine braking on the little turbo engines.
Had hybrid in mind but will probably just stick with petrol.

Did you see my post about the cost of the cambelt on the 1.0 petrol engine. Its eye watering.Panman40 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 3:47 am We’ve got an 18 plate 1.0L eco boost focus, bought just before lockdown. The wife had a C-Max Mk1 and it was a great car apart from the 1.8 petrol engine that drank fuel.
I enjoyed driving it and having the higher seats than a normal car and being of estate size it what i was after.
The wife has a 2015 Focus and its a great car apart from the front passenger leg room which it not enought for me on long trip.
I am looking forward to getting the C-Max as it will make a nice change for me.
The C-Max has cost me about the same as i paid for my RT.
And the best part of it is, i have not had to get into any Debt to buy the car. Happy Days

The C-Max i brought was the newest, best spec, lowest mileage car in my price range. There was a really nice red cmax on a 67 plate. But at just over £14k it was way to much for what it is.

No I didn’t see that, what was the cost ?. Agreed the mpg even on this tiny engine is not great, maybe 35 to 40 ish.EasyRider wrote: ↑Fri Apr 25, 2025 5:48 am Did you see my post about the cost of the cambelt on the 1.0 petrol engine. Its eye watering.

Best car we had was the first and only time the wife bought new, 54 plate 1.8 diesel focus 115, comfortable, quick, good economy, I loved driving it, did 100k then sold it for a kia. The Bly thing I didn’t like was the trail of black smoke it left when giving it beans.

Re: What did you do today?
I bought a Mk3 Skoda Superb 1.4 hybrid back at the end of August. I last filled it up 31st December and it showed 485 miles range, 2480 miles later it's still shows 275, it's ideal for my 10 miles to work and back solely on electric, cost approx 70p a day to charge, on petrol it will still do 50mpg+

Another happy Skoda owner with an elderly 2011 1.6TD Octavia, 44k with 50+ mpg, cavernous boot, comfortable seats and good leg room. A cheap quality car with 1 previous owner.
