Don't let your wife sort your tools. Things disappear. But she knows where it is. They have a funny way of categorizing items.

I was redecorating the office and put all the odds and sods like door handles, screws, locks, and the tools needed to replace the same in the office bin to keep them all together… I mean, it wasn’t about to be used for any other purpose at that time was it?

I bet you know what comes next, and you’re right!

The love of my life, centre of my universe, the very water in my desert put the whole bliddy lot in the big green bin that was collected the same day. It’s a very rare day that she ever empties the bins, but on THAT day she did.

Where’s the ‘Bang head against brick wall’ emoji?

Drove the wife and me to Box Hill this morning. Ordered a small burger and a hot dog. Bloody £16. The meat in the burger only covered half the bun
And the dog roll, you couldn't even bite into the sausage. I complained, but was told that is how they come.
In all the 50 years ive been going to Box Hill for a munch and a cuppa. They have lost my custom from now on for good. Sticking to Billy's, Whiteways and Loomies from now

Did my second group ride in 40 years. The first was when I was with the BMF, and I hated it. This morning i did a group ride with 8 old friends. Only a short ride around the South Downs and ending up at a cafe in Pagham for refreshments. I enjoyed it, catching up with the gossip, but i prefer going for longer rides where i can stop, have a look around, then ride again.
Being a solo rider for so many years, i sort of got set in my ways.
Main thing was i enjoyed it and got me out of the house for a few hours, where i would have just been sitting down and watching the news on TV.

I tried https://kurviger.com/ for the first time today for a run up to the Long Mynd/Stiperstones, I selected extra curvy, it created a 81 mile route, 50 - 60 miles of that was down single track lanes.

Found on my ride out yesterday that the speedo was still cutting out. So I ordered a new ABS/speedo cable. After a lot of searching, I found a few other makes of bikes and scooters that use the same cable and sensor. Also, Mini, BMW, and VW use the same cable with the correct sensor and plug. I don't know how much BMW sells them for, but I paid £51 inc post for a genuine Bosch one with the same part number

Recovering from surgery where they removed this Zenker's diverticulum which I have been growing for several years.

With some luck we may have some riding weather left when I'm able to ride again. 🙂
