Recovering from surgery where they removed this Zenker's diverticulum which I have been growing for several years.
With some luck we may have some riding weather left when I'm able to ride again.
Speedy recovery to you.

We used to go to the one in Wandsworth Bridge Road and Shepherd's Bush market. Probably not there anymore. Do the Saturday shop, then straight to the pie & mash shop.

Dare say they could,its an interesting hobby that I've accidentally fallen into(reckon ive got nearly 30 now)Not just the bayonet but a lot more with the markings they carry,maker,year,army,navy,police etc.It keeps me busy
No idea about the knife,didn't even know its a fruit knife.Was only €30 so it goes into my knife collection(yes,I collection those aswell

)
Yesterday was another loooong day,not as busy as Saturday but still very busy.Never saw it all,won't come back but it was certainly an experience

Cleaned the bike and found that the O/S middle painted panel, the one with the inadequate flimsy retaining tabs, had one broken off
EBay had a couple of scratched ones that would need repair/repaint @ £150, so ordered a new unpainted one from BMW @ £91. I’d have to pay for a respray anyway so in my book that was the best deal and less pricey than I expected.

Set the alarm for six o'clock, out the house just as the sun was rising and had an all day breakfast at Machynlleth, then north via the Mach Loop valley to Bala. From there there's a fantastic route over the hills back home to Shropshire, and home just as it started to rain. I don't think I saw the tempurature on the bike get any higher than 13c and at one point was down to 7.5c. I'd put all my spare layers on, plus the heated grips & seat. Of course I've ridden in a lot worse, but the chill in the air came as a bit of a suprise!

Started to fit the rear wheel speed sensor. What a pain. If it weren't for 1 screw, it could be done without removing the wheel. Found the problem. Where BMW had cable tied it to the frame, they hadn't left enough play to take into account the movement of the swing arm.
The cable must have been rubbing away for the last 18 years.
The replacement that I was told would fit doesn't, so I sent it back for a refund and ordered the correct part from BMW Worthing for £109.01 with FOC delivery. Where the 1p comes into it is anyone's guess. So waiting for that part to drop through my letterbox.
This sensor seems to be in high demand for some reason. Only BMW has stock in Germany.

Whilst waiting for the speed sensor to arrive, the wife got me to work. First was to cut the front and rear lawns, then replace a broken fence panel, and lastly to wash the windows inside and out.
I am Knackered to say the lease. I may get a break tomorrow,

but we all know what the wives are like.
